This Privacy Policy describes how Patriot Protect ("Patriot Protect," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit patriot-protect.com (the "Site"), purchase or use our services, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). "You" and "your" mean any individual whose information we collect, whether a customer, a covered family member, or a visitor.

Privacy is our business, and we treat your information the way you would expect a privacy company to. Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Eligibility and Scope

Our Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and who are current or recent residents of the United States. We process personal information in the United States. This Policy applies only to information we collect through the Services and does not apply to information you publish yourself or provide to third parties we do not control.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.

Information you provide to receive the Services. To remove your information from data broker and people-search sites and to perform monitoring, we collect the identifying information necessary to locate and act on your records. This may include your full name and any prior names, current and previous home addresses, date of birth, phone numbers, and email addresses. If your plan includes dark web or breach monitoring, we also collect the identifiers you choose to monitor. If you purchase a family plan, you provide this information for the additional individuals you are authorized to represent.

Account and transaction information. When you create an account or purchase a subscription, we collect your name, email address, billing information, and payment confirmation details. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor, not stored by us.

Communications. When you contact us for support or otherwise, we collect the information you choose to include in your messages.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect usage information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser information, and how you interact with the Site. This is described further in Section 6.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

• Provide the Services, including submitting removal and suppression requests on your behalf, performing monitoring, and notifying you of results.
• Create and manage your account, process your payments, and administer your subscription and renewals.
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests.
• Send you marketing and promotional communications, which you can opt out of at any time.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site and Services, and detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How We Handle the Information You Provide for Removals and Monitoring

This is the core of our promise to you, so we state it plainly.

The personal information you provide so that we can perform removals or monitoring is used for one purpose: to deliver the Service you paid for. We do not sell this information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it for marketing. We do not use it to build profiles or infer characteristics about you.

To perform a removal, we and our service providers necessarily submit your information to the data brokers, people-search sites, and other third parties that hold or publish it, because that is how an opt-out or deletion request is made. We disclose your information to those parties only as needed to carry out your request, and to the trusted service providers who execute removals and monitoring on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not authorize any of these providers to use your information for their own purposes.

5. Sensitive Personal Information

Some of the information needed to perform our Services, and any information you choose to submit for monitoring, may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law. We collect and use sensitive personal information solely to provide the Services you requested. We do not use or disclose it to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use or disclose it for advertising. You may direct us to limit our use of your sensitive personal information as described in Section 9.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies on the Site to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure traffic, and understand how visitors use the Site.

We also use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) on the Site. The Meta Pixel collects information about your interactions with the Site and helps us measure and deliver our advertising on Meta platforms, including showing relevant ads to people who have visited the Site. The information involved is website and usage information, not the identity information you provide to receive removals or monitoring, which is never used for advertising.

Most browsers accept cookies by default, and you can adjust your browser settings to remove or reject them, though doing so may affect how the Site functions. You can also control or opt out of advertising-related tracking as described in Section 8.

We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or device sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt that browser or device out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

7. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

• To service providers who deliver the Services on our behalf, including the providers who perform removals and monitoring, our payment processor, our e-commerce platform (Shopify), customer support tools, and analytics providers. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
• To data brokers, people-search sites, and similar third parties, solely as necessary to submit and process removal, opt-out, and suppression requests on your behalf.
• To our advertising partner (Meta) for the limited advertising and measurement purposes described in Sections 6 and 8.
• For legal and protective reasons, including to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests such as subpoenas, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights and the rights and safety of others.
• In a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

8. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information, and Your Opt-Out

We do not sell or share for advertising the identity information you provide to receive removals or monitoring. Full stop.

The only category of information involved in what some state laws define as "selling" or "sharing" is the website and usage information collected through advertising technologies such as the Meta Pixel, which is used for advertising and measurement. Under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act, the use of such advertising technologies may be treated as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You have the right to opt out. You can opt out of this advertising-related sale and sharing by:

• Sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, which we honor automatically.
• Contacting us at privacy@patriot-protect.com and requesting to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information. These rights are subject to legal limits and exceptions.

• Right to know and access the personal information we hold about you and how we use and disclose it.
• Right to delete personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to portability, to receive a copy of your personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as described in Section 8.
• Right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails, though we may still send you non-promotional messages about your account or subscription.

10. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@patriot-protect.com or through the contact details in Section 17. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before responding, which may require confirming information associated with your account.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require proof that you authorized the agent to act for you, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need your information, we delete or de-identify it. Information submitted for removals may be retained while your subscription is active so that we can continue to act on your behalf and detect re-listings.

12. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but protecting your information is central to what we do, and we work to keep our safeguards aligned with that responsibility.

13. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@patriot-protect.com and we will delete it.

14. Where We Process Information

We collect and process personal information in the United States. Our Services are intended for United States residents, and we do not direct our Services to, or transfer personal information for processing in, other countries.

15. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to websites or platforms we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before providing them with information.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the updated Policy here and revise the Effective Date above. For material changes, we will provide notice as required by law.
